Product Image Optimization uses Quick Asset Test (QAT) methodology to help you identify the most effective product images through head-to-head comparison. This test eliminates market noise and focuses purely on visual appeal and performance of your image options.

Step-by-Step Setup Guide
1. Test Settings & Asset Upload
1.1 Select Test Type
- Navigate to "Create Project"
- Choose "Product Testing" → "Product Design Optimization"
- or Choose "Product Marketing" → "Product Image Optimization"
- or Choose "Advertising" → "Asset Testing" → “Image”
- Click "Create" to proceed
1.2 Upload Your Image Versions
- Click "Add a new version" to upload each image variant
- Best Practice: Test 2-4 image versions
- Image Requirements: High-quality, consistent format and dimensions, similar

2.1 Choose Your Question to Ask the Participant
You have two options for question selection:
Option A: Pre-Built Questions (Recommended)
- Select from dropdown menu of recommended questions
- Advantage: Automatically translated to target audience language
- Examples:
- "Which of these versions looks most appealing to you, and why?"
- "Which version of the product are you more likely to purchase, and why?"
- "Based on the packaging design, which product would you be more likely to buy, and why?"
Option B: Custom Questions
- Type your own question in the text field
- Critical Requirement: Must be formulated directly in your target audience's language
- No automatic translation - ensure linguistic accuracy for your market

- Keep questions clear and specific
- Include "and why?" to gather qualitative insights
- Focus on the specific attribute you're testing (visual appeal, purchase intent, etc.)
- Avoid leading or biased language

3.1 Understanding Form Questions Purpose
Form Questions (Post-Shop Questions) are additional questions asked after participants have seen and compared your image versions. These questions help you gather deeper insights beyond simple preference, providing valuable context for your optimization decisions.
Why Use Form Questions:
- Gather specific attribute feedback (ingredients, appeal factors, quality perception)
- Validate assumptions about your product positioning
3.2 Question Configuration
- Type of Question: Choose the most appropriate type for your research goal (navigate to New Form Question for detailed guidance)
- Single Choice: For preference selection or rating scales
- Multiple Choice: For attribute identification or expectation questions
- Limited Choice: For giving a range, for example. select up to 3 answer options
- Long Text: For detailed qualitative, open feedback
- Question Position: Post-Shop (standard)
- Show User: Decide what the user will see when answering the question: Just Question, All Creatives, Top 1 Choice (the top one choice of the participant), Specific Version
- Randomize: Choose based on question type and research needs
3.3 Form Question Examples
- "Which ingredients do you expect in this product?"
- "What exactly appeals to you in this product version?"
Long Text Questions (For detailed insights):
- "What would make you more likely to purchase this product?"
The recruitment costs are dependent of the test length.
Note that each post shop question cost additionally 0.5 credits per participant.
